Management-system certificates, material test reports and end-use declarations answer different questions. Specify the document, issuing body, covered product and validity information required by your buyer.

Check that the company name, manufacturing site, grade, sample description and test conditions match the supplied material. Request clarification when a document covers a different product or location.

Food-contact, medical-packaging and other regulated applications require an assessment of the actual use conditions. A generic material description does not establish suitability.

Include the application, material preference, thickness and tolerance, sheet dimensions or roll width, quantity and destination market. For rolls, add core size, maximum diameter and winding requirements. Attach drawings or reference samples where available.
