PET Sheet Ordering FAQ

Answers to common questions about PET sheet selection, samples, quotations and supporting documentation.

How do APET and PETG differ?

APET is amorphous PET; PETG is a glycol-modified copolyester. Compare grade-specific data and trials for the geometry, appearance and performance you need.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantity, sample availability, price and delivery schedule are confirmed in the quotation for your specification.

Which thickness should I choose?

Use the application, part geometry and minimum finished wall thickness as starting requirements. Confirm the gauge through sample trials and agreed performance tests.

Can recycled PET be used for my application?

Specify recycled content, traceability and intended use. Recycled content alone does not establish food-contact or other end-use suitability.

What should I include in an inquiry?

Include the application, material preference, thickness and tolerance, sheet dimensions or roll width, quantity and destination market. For rolls, add core size, maximum diameter and winding requirements. Attach drawings or reference samples where available.

Which certificates or reports are available?

Request current documents for the proposed grade and destination market. Confirm scope, validity and whether the document applies to the actual supplied material.
